Before fully delving into the world of sports journalism, Manuel Gómez served as a Special Education Teacher for 7-years in the New York City Public School system. Shortly thereafter, he worked for FanSided’s flagship MLB site Call to the Pen as both Contributor and Editor for two years. Currently, Manuel hosts his own podcast and is the Podcast Director and East Coast MLB Contributor for Our Esquina. His work as a Podcaster and writer has been featured on Bleacher Report.
