21 things we’re thankful about the 2021 MLB Season

Things to be thankful for: 7 – 9

7. Memorable Sticky Stuff Checks

After seeing offensive numbers collapse and no-hitters tossed with regularity, MLB decided that it would finally start policing the illegal use of sticky stuff by pitchers. This would unleash a number of memorable moments of pitchers losing their grip.

Players like Max Scherzer and Sergio Romo provided some of the most memorable moments and fans were treated to a near strip tease.

8. First Full 162-Game Season Since 2019

This season, MLB finally returned to a full 162-game season. It would be the first time since 2019 that a full season was played.

For fans, this meant that there was a baseball game to watch virtually every night. What’s more, stadiums were open for business again.

9. Access to Multiple Professional Leagues Across the Globe

There were many blessings we were given throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. One of which was gaining access to international baseball like the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) and the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL).

Now, fans are even being treated to FREE Dominican Winter Leagues games on MLB.tv. In case you don’t know, the Dominican Winter Leagues is stacked with MLB players like Robinson Cano and Albert Pujols, so don’t miss out!
