Juan Beltran, who immigrated to the United States from El Salvador at 5 years old, is an experienced broadcast journalist. He has worked in English and Spanish television for Houston’s local ABC affiliate and in the Rio Grande Valley. Beltran’s curiosity and love for sports grew as he tried to adapt to American culture. He learned to speak English through rap songs.

He enjoys dancing salsa, eating good street tacos or pupusas, and, most importantly, sharing a great sports story about our CULTURA!
