Francisco Lindor, Ronald Acuña Jr. return to All-Star Game

Jose Ramirez earns seventh All-Star berth, fourth start in a row

Less than an hour after he was named the National League’s starting shortstop for the 2025 All-Star Game, Francisco Lindor celebrated with a solo home run at Citi Field. Lindor and Ronald Acuña Jr. of the host Atlanta Braves highlight the list of Latinos selected to start the Midsummer Classic at Truist Park.

Yankees captain Aaron Judge, who led the majors in All-Star votes, will be joined in the American League outfield by the Tigers’ Javy Baez and Riley Greene. Baez, a native of Puerto Rico, is one of the best stories of redemption in the majors.

After five disappointing seasons in a row, Baez earned his third All-Star bid and first since he was with the Cubs in 2019. The Tigers lead the AL with three All-Star starters – Baez, Greene and second baseman Gleyber Torres.
