Looking for comprehensive 2021 Fantasy Baseball rankings? Look no further, here are the top 100 starting pitchers in MLB.

With a little more than two weeks before Opening Day, fans are ramping up their research for the upcoming MLB season. Before then, Our Esquina is dropping their 2021 Fantasy Baseball Rankings by position, including updates, every day until the first pitch of the regular season is thrown.

Today, we’re going to rank the league’s top 100 starting pitchers. In some leagues, starting pitching is king. So, you want to make sure you draft wisely at this position. Try not to take too many risks as it can cost you a lot of points.

NOTE: Because these rankings are determined by an aggregating projection stats, some players are ranked much lower than you might expect. For example…

  • Randy Dobnak, MIN (Not Ranked) – Dobnak is an outlier in today’s game. One of the few sinker ball pitchers, Dobnak generates soft contact and a lot of ground balls. However, he doesn’t go deep into games. Therefore, his ERA is deceptive. Dobnak will be an asset to any team, so keep his name in mind in later rounds.
  • Julio Urias, LAD (75) – It’s no mistake that much of the Dodgers’ success in the 2020 postseason came on the back of Urias. This is one of the most versatile young pitchers in the game and he’ll finally get a chance to shine as a full-time member of the rotation during the regular season. Feel confident in drafting him higher than 75 if need b.

Before we begin, remember that these rankings are for head-to-head (H2H) leagues. Determinations were made by aggregating all projection stats, which can be found on FanGraphs.
