Historic All-Stars Car Show takes over Daikin Park
Coffee and Cars takes over Daikin Park
HOUSTON – The Astros are accustomed to showing off All-Stars at Daikin Park. Now the home of the two-time World Series champions is set to make history Saturday with the All-Stars Car Show, the first car show ever held inside a Major League Baseball stadium.
Coffee and Cars worked in partnership with Daikin Park for two months to bring this event to life.
Abe Levitz, co-founder of the All-Stars Car Show and Event Director at Coffee and Cars, noticed the lack of automotive recognition Houston has had. This led Levitz’s motivation in curating the All-Stars Car Show. Coffee and Cars puts together monthly car shows and festivals across Houston. It bills itself as “automotive gatherings for everyone.”
“What we’ve seen over 21 years between our regular monthly shows, plus the large festivals that we’ve [held] – Porsche Festival, Lamborghini Festival, Ferrari Festival – and the hundreds of different driving experiences that we put on, is that Houston has one of the greatest car communities in the world,” Levitz said. “Not only because of what the car collectors have, but just the magnitude and the cross section of the different cars that are owned here.”
‘American dream’
When developing the car show, Levitz wanted it to align with the “American dream” story.
“What we wanted to do is we wanted to align the American dream story, which is a very good narrative right now,” Levitz said. “A lot of the people that we’re showcasing, especially their cars, are kind of like the American dream stories. They’re very hard-working people that not all came from here, but they’ve started with nothing and now have made accomplishments. And they show that accomplishment through their vehicles.”

The car show will feature unveilings every half hour. Some of the unveilings include Pagani Utopia, Ferrari SP3, and Gunther Werks Porsche. Attendees can view racecars, American muscle cars and more. The cars will be on the field and around the concourse. Some cars will also be on display on the outside lots.
The Speedster Legends Collection will be showcased for the first time. The collection includes the Ferrari Monza SP1, McLaren Elva, Aston Martin Speedster, and the Mercedes-McLaren SLR Stirling Moss.
Food and beverage vendors and sponsor activities will be available throughout the park. Outside areas will showcase live DJs. Surprise celebrity guests will offer autographs.
All-Stars Car Show features Houston car culture

“It’s a nice cross section of Houston,” Levitz said. “Not only car culture but also the supportive culture in the goods and services side of things. For us our objective was to make this affordable, engaging and accessible, and I think that we’ve been able to do all of that.”
On-field access guests can watch a diamond-studded All-Stars Car Show trophy, handcrafted by Houston locals Daniel and Co. The Astros’ two World Series trophies will also be on display for on-the-field attendees.
VIP tickets have already sold out. General admission tickets remain available, though. A portion of the proceeds from this event will support the Astros Foundation, which supports youth sports, education and military families. The foundation also supports childhood cancer research and domestic violence awareness.
“We’re always thinking about how to do things for families in need, children and supporting our men and women in the military and local HPD,” Levitz said. “The Astros Foundation is very unique in that it touches on a lot of the key things that we have part of our value system.”
