The Astros leave an ugly grimace on the Mets
The Houston Astros won their fifth consecutive series against the red hot New York Mets. The Astros are 9-1 in their last 10 games, and move their record to 42-41 before July 1.

The Astros were 2-for-14 with RISP and 14 left on base in Game 1. The Astros defense had multiple defensive miscues through the series, such as miscommunication and fielding the ball cleanly. The ‘Stros offense continued to pass the baton to the next player through the order. They muscled back and score nine runs in Game 2, and 10 runs in Game 3.
