The Astros Have Good Vibes
The Houston Astros won their sixth consecutive series against the Toronto Blue Jays. The Astros take three of four and finish the season with a 5-2 record against Toronto.
Full Seam Ahead hosts Lorenzo Delgado and Angel Cantu start the show recapping the Blue Jays series. Hunter Brown deserves his flowers, especially not winning the American League Pitcher of the Month for June. Brown finished June with a 4-0 record and a 1.69 ERA. Yordan Alvarez, a three-time All-Star, continues his power trip into July. Alvarez finished the series 6-for-12 with three home runs and eight RBIs. Once again, the Astros’ offense continues to impress on the road.
Jon Heyman, a baseball columnist at the New York Post, wrote an article on the Astros entering the trade deadline. The Astros “dream target” is Diamondbacks’ first baseman Christian Walker, who will be a free agent after this season. Would this be a smart move for the Astros? What players or prospects could be in a potential trade package for Walker? Delgado and Cantu debate on the Astros acquiring Walker.
