Astros, Full Seam Ahead

Presidential recap from Washington D.C.

  • April 23, 2024

The Houston Astros lost a frustrating series to the Washington Nationals to drop their record to 7-16.

Lorenzo Delgado and Angel Cantu start the show by recapping and breaking down the series against the Nationals. They dig deep on why the back end of the bullpen continues to struggle closing out games.

The middle part of the lineup did not produce with runners in scoring position. Slugging third baseman Alex Bregman is batting .154 in his last seven games. Do the Astros possibly need to change their lineup? Jose Altuve, Yordan Alvarez, Alex Bregman, Kyle Tucker? Altuve, Tucker, Bregman, Alvarez?

The guys find out “Who’s invited to the Carne Asada!”

Who’s bringing the meat? Fajita or Chicken? As they highlight key players who contributed during the series. Catch the pitching preview as the Astros take off to the Windy City and take on the Chicago Cubs. Let’s go to the Train Station and hear the latest Astros news. Lastly, we go Around the Horn with a crazy ejection in the Bronx.
