Mariners navigate through Astros
In the latest episode of the Full Seam Ahead podcast, Lorenzo Delgado and Angel Cantu break down how the Astros dropped two of three against the Mariners. The Astros won the first game against the Mariners.
However, the ‘Stros lost back to back games and dropped the series against a tough Mariners pitching staff.

In Major League Baseball, the Astros rank 27th in fWAR (-0.5), 20th in ERA (.444 ERA), last in saves (3), 21st in earned runs (64), and 19th in WHIP (1.38). Astros offense among the best
Furthermore, the Astros’ offense has performed at an elite level. They lead the AL in batting average (.259 BA), and hits (305). In addition, they’re ranked second in OBP (.326), OPS (.735), and SLG (.409) in the AL. In order for those numbers to continue to rise, Yordan Alvarez, Alex Bregman, and Yainer Diaz have to produce with runners in scoring position (RISP).
