Astros take a Twin beating

The Houston Astros drop two of three against the Minnesota Twins. The Astros lose their first series since dropping two games to the San Francisco Giants back in early June.

Full Seam Ahead hosts Lorenzo Delgado and Angel Cantu start the show recapping the Twins series. The Astros powered a lot of runs with some 2-out hitting. Star-studded defense was on display in Target Field. Jose Altuve robs two-runs from his former teammate Carlos Correa with a sliding catch in shallow right. Astros rookie Joey Loperfido made a jaw dropping play in right. Did he possibly make the catch of the year in 2024? Lastly, Jon Singleton showed off his vertical by making a leaping grab at first.

ESPN announced the 2024 All-Star reserves for each league on the All-Star Selection Show. Astros starter Ronel Blanco was NOT on the list for the American League pitchers. Cantu and Delgado break down his stats and compare to some of the AL Pitchers who made the cut. Did Major League Baseball get it right?
