Astros sweep at the Trop
The Houston Astros are the hottest team in baseball. The Astros brought out the brooms and sweep the Tampa Bay Rays in a three-game series at Tropicana Field. Moreover, the ‘Stros are riding an eight-game winning streak and lead the American League West division by 2 1/2 games.
Full Seam Ahead hosts Lorenzo Delgado and Angel Cantu recap the Rays. Astros third baseman Alex Bregman recently was awarded AL Co-Player of the Week with teammate Yordan Alvarez. The Astros’ starting pitching was exceptional in this series. Dominican southpaw Framber Valdez continues to have a fantastic second half.
