Astros win consecutive series for first time in 2024

Are the Astros back? The Astros won consecutive series for the first time this season. They took two of three from the Cleveland Guardians. 

Full Seam Ahead hosts Lorenzo Delgado and Angel Cantu start the show by discussing the environment in Mexico City and recapping a little bit of the Mexico City Series. One-run and extra-inning games continue to hurt the Astros as they move to 1-8 in one-run games.

Alex Bregman connected with his first Breggy Bomb of the season, but he struggled heavily with runners in scoring position in this series. Is it time to move him down the order? Do you switch Bregman with Jeremy Peña in the lineup?

Rookie Spencer Arrighetti and the veteran Justin Verlander showed out in their starts. Arrighetti pitched phenomenally. He marked a career-high in innings (5 2/3) and pitches thrown (94) in his fourth career start. Verlander continued to ramp up the pitch count as he finished seven strong innings.
