Daddy Yankee, BIZARRAP play halftime at NFL’s game in Spain

Halftime show set for NFL’s first game in Spain

Reggaeton icon Daddy Yankee and rising Argentinian artist BIZARRAP will headline the halftime show at the NFL’s first game in Spain as the Miami Dolphins and Washington Commanders are set to face off at the historic Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid on November 16th.

This will mark Daddy Yankee’s return to the stage after the Latin Music Hall of Famer announced his comeback from retirement earlier this year.

“I am really looking forward to performing onstage again with the incredibly talented BIZARRAP,” Daddy Yankee said. “I feel so joyful about music and the amazing track we have created together. Sharing it with fans around the world has already been so rewarding.”

“Get ready Madrid.  Get ready NFL. We are going to have an amazing show!”

They will perform their collaboration “Daddy Yankee: BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 0/66”  in front of fans for the first time.

Multiple Latin Grammy Award winner BIZARRAP is known for his viral YouTube series “BZRP Music Sessions,” where he has collaborated with Shakira, Peso Pluma and most recently Daddy Yankee.

Elevating Latino artists

“Getting the opportunity to headline the halftime show for the NFL’s first game in Spain is a huge honor,” BIZARRAP said. “Especially alongside Daddy Yankee, such a legend.”

Daddy Yankee and BIZARRAP are set to join a growing list of Latino music stars who have performed at the NFL’s international games, displaying the league’s efforts to intertwine football with Latino culture.

The list already includes Brazilian artist Anitta, who performed in the NFL’s first game in Brazil in 2024. Colombian singer Karol G headlined the latest Brazil game in September.

“Across performances at our international games, we’ve elevated Latin artists around the world–showcasing the significance and appeal of the genre globally,” said Tim Tubito, the NFL’s senior director, Global Game Presentation and Entertainment. “We’re thrilled to welcome BIZARRAP and Daddy Yankee to our first-ever game in Madrid and can’t wait for fans to witness history. … It will be a celebration of music and culture you won’t want to miss.”
